A redesign project focused on enhancing Purusha Studio’s website: improving performance, design consistency, and making content updates easier for the new studio owners.
Scope: Update brand colors, typography, and create a new landing page for an upcoming yoga teacher training.

When the new owners took over, the website felt dated and difficult to maintain. Their main struggles:
Inconsistent design (old brand fonts & colors)
Slow page load times
Backend complexity created anxiety around content updates
Wanted a yoga training landing page without relying on third-party platforms
Q: What are your current pain points?
A: lack of expertise to manage sophisticated platform that is not intuitive, not time to train, need partner for major tech support and fine tuning, but ensure that content can be self-serve updated, mostly with photos and event calendar

Given the broad scope and limited budget, I prioritized:
1️⃣ A website reskin for brand consistency
2️⃣ A custom landing page for their July yoga training
I handled both design and WordPress implementation.

The reskin focused on visual improvements — no major structural changes — per the client’s request.
During implementation, I identified and fixed a key publishing bug:
⚡️ Caching conflict between Elementor and the previous cache plugin caused inconsistent live previews.
💡 Solution: Switched to WP Fastest Cache for reliable rendering.
Notable UX Enhancements:
✅ Styled the Events page for brand consistency
✅ Refined hero images + overlays for better readability
✅ Improved menu navigation state feedback
✅ Ensured responsiveness across all screen sizes

I sketched and prototyped a new landing page for the yoga training program, prioritizing clarity and highlighting 3 core value propositions. I then designed high fidelity mockups in Figma and went through an iterative process with the co-owners where they refined content as I refined design.
